Fruitman Sam is an eager surfer born and bred in the beachside suburb of Bronte. After years of enduring second rate, week-old produce from his local supermarket and paying top dollar for it, Fruitman Sam decided it was time to make a stand. Driven by his love of fresh fruit and vegetables, Fruitman Sam decided to cut out the middleman and embarked on a life changing journey to the far-western suburb of Flemington, a destination that few eastern suburbites would care to visit. Here he found an oasis of fresh produce, all available straight from the farmer at a price that would put a smile on any penny pincher's face. Fruitman Sam spent months forging relationships with the best growers and suppliers that Flemington Markets has to offer, but rather than keep his discoveries to himself, he decided to put his produce picks of the week together in to individual boxes every Monday morning in order to deliver them straight to the front door of eastern suburbs residents. No longer do you have to lug your children along to the supermarket or greengrocer to pay exorbitant prices for week old produce.
